The UAConnect Project Team is re-opening the migration process today so that faculty and staff can move from the university-hosted email servers to UAConnect, the Microsoft-hosted Exchange email system. The migration deadline for faculty and staff is November 10, 2011.

As part of the campus license for Apple, a cooperative effort of the Office of the CIO and UofA Bookstores, the latest Macintosh operating system, OSX Lion, is now available for instant digital download from the Bookstore's campus licensing site. The campus license covers all machines owned or leased by the University of Arizona, and all UA faculty and staff.

There may be fewer students on campus during the summer, but the Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR) has plenty to do. Five OSCR labs are getting updated with new computers for the fall semester: Engineering 318, McClelland Park, Shantz, the Multimedia Learning Lab, and the Multimedia Zone.
