UAWiFi is a secure and fast wireless network that will eventually cover most of campus. Partially funded by the Student Technology Fee, it will bring roaming 802.11a/b/g wireless access for all students, staff and faculty on campus. UAWiFi is replacing older wireless technology currently used on campus. More information on the UITS Wireless Service page; see also the Coverage Map.

You must have a valid UA NetID and a computer with an 802.11a/b/g wireless card that can handle WPA security. Most newer wireless cards support WPA security.

Since UAWiFi uses your NetID password, you will need to visit the NetID password change page. Once you have changed your NetID password, have a look at our handy guide to changing the WiFi password on your computer.

If you have a Windows or Macintosh computer, use the instructions available via UAnswsers. After clicking on the link, the UAnswers website will open in a new window or tab. Use the search box to search for UA WiFi.
