Apple DVD Player

If you have an Apple-supplied DVD-ROM drive installed in your computer, such as an Apple SuperDrive, you can use the Apple DVD Player application to play DVD-Video discs. You can view the DVD-Video disc on your computer display or on a television connected to your computer using the right cables. You can even watch high-definition video if you've installed the Apple DVD Player 4.6 Update. In fact, DVD Player 4.6 lets you play DVD Studio Pro 4 authored HD DVDs from discs and hard drives.
